About Gary
Hi, My name is Gary, and I live near Finsbury Park. I am currently studying for a PhD in biosciences at UCL having done a master's degree in cognitive neuroscience. My strongest subject at A-level was English Language and Literature. I am available in the evenings and weekends for GCSE science and English tuition in North and East London. I am enthusiastic, patient, and will listen to the needs of your child carefully. Having been a student for many years, I have realised what makes a good teacher. This is someone who can explain the basics and build systematically and carefully to more complicated concepts. They should make sure the student understands the fundamentals before proceeding and takes the time to listen to the needs of the student, and answer their questions fully.
