About Mickey
I am a first year medicine student at Kings College London Medical School and part-time tutor. Teaching is a strong skill of mine- I have been coaching tennis for many years, working with kids and adapting to varied learning methods. I have also tutored more intensively in the past two years, privately and in schools. My strongpoint lies in the fact that I am able to carefully tailor my teaching method to suit a variety of students. I believe students can be very varied and hence private lessons should be really tailored to the specific needs and abilities of the student, so to enhance their own individual learning.
A little bit more about myself, in addition to being in medical school, I also have a very big creative side. I am an avid filmmaker, having written scripts for the university film society and I also play guitar. Volunteering is also an important part in my life- I do volunteering in at a learning disabled school, which enables me to amongst other things, to work on my personalized approach of teaching and be a supporting contributor to my community.
