About Dori
I earned my undergraduate degree at UC Santa Barbara with my major in Environmental Studies and my minor in Professional Writing, Business Communication. I earned my teaching credential through a residency teaching program at University of San Francisco. I have worked with students 6th grade through 12th grade.

My teaching method is based on Inquiry Based Learning, in which students develop their own ability to ask questions, identify important information, and make meaning of scientific content. I believe in teaching science in a way that relates to real world applications and assesses student understanding in an authentic way.
