About Erin
I am an enthusiastic and highly committed primary teacher with a strong child-led approach, grounded in a clear understanding of how children learn and develop. I create purposeful, inclusive learning environments where pupils feel safe, motivated, and challenged to achieve their best. I am reflective in my practice, continually adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners and to support both academic progress and personal growth.
I am a confident communicator who builds positive, professional relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, and I value collaboration as a key part of effective teaching. Outside the classroom, my interests in netball and outdoor learning allow me to promote teamwork, resilience, and wellbeing, while my love of reading and meeting new people reflects my commitment to lifelong learning and curiosity. I bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for education to every aspect of school life.

What: Engaging, meaningful and progressive. Ensuring your child has their needs met and the foundations laid to achieve their goals. Lessons are active and concrete materials are used to provide depth in understanding.
Where: online (Skype, Zoom, Teams etc)
When: weekday evenings or weekend.
Why: I am an experienced primary school teacher still currently in practice. My lessons are child-led and informed by the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence.
