About Ericka
I am a native of Ecuador, therefore my first language was Spanish. I traveled to the US when I was 5 not knowing anything else other than “hi” and “bye”. One particular memory has always stood out for me from when I first arrived, as I was being dropped off at my new school I was so nervous! I didn’t know English, how was I going to make friends? How would I ask to go to the bathroom? How could I understand where to go or what to do? Luckily, I was little and I learned the language proficiently and now I want to help others learn English to their best of their abilities so they can communicate with confidence and ease.
