Teaching language studies is all about the target audience. To assess the current academic level of a student a needs analysis is done to approximately establish the deficiencies found in their grasp over the subject and to come up with a tailor-made course specifically to meet their needs accordingly.
Whenever I work with my students, I try to make sure that they understand everything before moving on to the next topic. To achieve this we engage in open, thought provoking, fun-filled and jovial conversations that bring home the topic we're discussing. Even the quizzes are tailored to their caliber and challenge their intellect in a wholesome and positive fashion.
Furthermore, it is always my endeavor to make my students feel comfortable, accepted and respected around me so they feel no pressure while discussing their problems or confusions with me. It is due to such character traits that I am able to garner an atmosphere of trust and repertoire that instils in my students the confidence to appease their curiosity and inquisitiveness that sometimes goes either unnoticed by others or brushed aside condescendingly.
