About Kelsey
Hello! My name is Kelsey, and I am a graduate with degrees in Psychology and Creative Writing. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their reading, writing, and communication skills while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.
As a published poet and lifelong reader, I have a deep appreciation for language and storytelling. I enjoy helping students strengthen their grammar, spelling, reading comprehension, and creative writing abilities, whether they are working toward academic goals or simply looking to become more confident English learners.
My background in psychology has also given me valuable insight into how people learn and develop new skills. I strive to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's unique needs and learning style. My goal is to help students not only improve their English skills but also discover enjoyment and confidence in the learning process.

Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach is student-centered, encouraging active participation, curiosity, and confidence. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, supportive, and tailored to their individual goals and learning styles. I use a combination of guided instruction, discussion, practice exercises, and constructive feedback to help students strengthen their reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills.
Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material and an assessment of the student's current understanding. We then focus on a specific skill or learning objective, such as reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, vocabulary development, or creative writing techniques. Students participate in guided activities and practice exercises, followed by personalized feedback and recommendations for continued improvement.

As a graduate with degrees in Psychology and Creative Writing, I bring both strong communication skills and an understanding of how people learn. I am also a published poet, which allows me to help students develop creativity, confidence, and a stronger voice in their writing.
