About Irene
My name is Irene Klotz Maroto and I am half Spanish and half German. I grew up in Alicante, Spain and I was raised in a multilingual environment. In school, my main language was german, then english and then french. I love to be surrounded by people from different cultures and backgrounds. I always try to help people out whenever I get the chance to. I grew up with two little brothers and I love spending time with toddlers and children. During my school time I tutored beginners' spanish for foreign children a few times. I am looking forward to continue doing this in Dublin.

As a poliglot person, I believe that the best way to learn and improve a language is through speaking and listening to it. Therefore, I would base my lessons primarily on speaking and having conversation to improve communication skills as well as pronunciation. However, reading and writing is also a very big component and I would include it as well in my methodology.
If help for school or university assignments is required I would be more than happy to give a hand in that aswell.
Sessions would be 1h long. Although I am pretty flexible with that.
I have taught spanish before as a foreign language, especially for children and adolescents.
