About Neave
Hi there,
I'm Neave Taylor, a second year law student at the University of Durham. I thoroughly enjoy learning, and am looking forward to showing you why, and how you can learn to love learning too.
I achieved 10 A*-C at GCSE, and three A's at A LEVEL.
Outside of the school environment I enjoy dancing, playing volleyball and netball, and swimming. I also have a part-time job at a bar. But don't let these commitments fool you, I have excellent time management and will dedicate a lot of time and effort into your progression.
In my lessons, I also like to emphasis health and wellbeing, and how to cope with academic and exam pressures.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to working with you! :)

I have a pretty flexible method of teaching. Structuring my lessons around the individual, and how best they learn.
An hours lesson might look like:
- 5 minute warm up
- 25 minutes (task 1)
- 5 minute break
- 20 minutes (task 2)
A typical lesson can be: an hour (with a 5 minute break), an hour and a half (with a 5 minute break), or two hours (with a 10 minute break) - depending on what is wanted/ needed.
I have tutored family friends in the past, and younger students as part of my secondary school's tutoring program.
My lessons are for anyone who needs them. Having achieved A in GCSE English Literature and Language, and an A in ALEVEL English, I can help you achieve higher grades in your exams.
However, not only will I focus on content, but the wellbeing of the individual. How to deal with academic pressure and exam stress. This can be dealt with in extra sessions (at no extra cost - wellbeing has no price tag).
