About Olivia
I am a second-year music education student at Colorado State University. On top of my schooling and degree path, I have been singing and being part of choirs for 14 years, and have been playing the saxophone for almost 12. Through my degree, I have had opportunities to be in classrooms teaching multiple times, along with teaching before I was in college. I have taken classes on how to teach people to sing and how to play woodwind instruments so far.

Looking for students who are just beginning or only have a few years of playing experience. I like using more student-orientated teaching, meaning I do less while the students do more. This leads to growth as musicians in the student's abilities since they will be doing more. I have most experience working with flutes, clarinets, and saxophones. I also know how to teach and work with oboes and bassoons, but have yet to receive in-field experience. I have taken my teaching class for woodwinds, so I know the pedagogical and theoretical approaches to teaching someone a woodwind instrument.
