About Maryam
Hey! I’m Maryam, a biology tutor who’s all about making science understandable—and actually interesting. I’m studying neuroscience at the University of Leicester and have been through the ups and downs of biology, so I totally get how tricky it can feel. I keep things chill and low-pressure because everyone learns differently, and it’s way easier to grasp concepts when you’re not stressing. Whether you’re working on GCSE, A-Level, or KS3, I’m here to help you build confidence and genuinely enjoy the subject :)

My lessons are relaxed but focused — there’s no pressure or judgement here. We’ll work together to identify exactly what you need help with, whether that’s understanding tricky biology concepts, improving your exam technique, or building a solid foundation in the subject. I usually teach in 60-minute sessions, but I’m flexible depending on your needs! I’ve got experience tutoring GCSE, A-Level, and KS3 biology, and I’ve also been a peer mentor at the University of Leicester, helping fellow students grasp challenging topics. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming for top grades, my lessons are designed to help you gain confidence and clarity in biology at your own pace.
