About Molly
Hi, I'm Molly, a second year Neuroscience student at University and I have a passion for Science and Biology specifically. Having struggled initially with science in general, I completely understand the difficulty in learning and applying material and adapted my own learning in order to suit my needs. I finished GCSE with a 9,9 in Combined Science and an A in A-Level biology and would love to be able to pass on my knowledge and skills to the younger generation! I aim to inspire confidence into pupils and am committed to making sure my students feel better equipped to achieve their goals as even if you find a subject hard, there is always potential for you to do well.

I wholeheartedly believe that making sure the learning method suits the student's individual needs and is fun is the key to student success! Whilst I use many techniques, some key ones include regular fun quizzes to test knowledge and find any gaps, mind maps and images for more visual learners and for things such as processes, marking both the student's and model answers in order to improve question-answering skills, as well as sharing mnemonics and using techniques such as spaced repetition to improve memorisation. Lessons would typically be 1 hour and for GCSE and A-Level students.
