About William

Personally I have been passionate about English since an early school age where creative writing has always been a pastime for me. This passion has continued to even now. I love all forms of literature especially novels but honestly anything that can make you think is perfect for me. Through reading my grammar, vocabulary and overall inspiration with English was able to improve. However, getting taught by teachers and the world itself has always been the biggest inspirations for me and I think for anyone. This is why through tutoring peers and friends I found that I love to help others gain confidence with their English. From teaching I also found myself to improve in English which is an even greater motivator. I agree that English is a subjective and difficult subject however I believe I can show and teach that anyone can excel at English (at any age!) With the correct mindset and foundation no essay, short story, grammar exercise etc. is too tough to tackle. From the nitty gritty to letting your imagination flow onto paper I will do my best to help the learner every step of the way. With my help I can help to further expand the learner's potential by encouraging creativity, focus and precision. I can also help the learner understand patterns, strategies and knowledge that can last a lifetime! I'm always open to hear the learner's thoughts and ideas as I believe that communication is what English is all about.

-practice with literacy, reading, writing etc.
-engaging with appropriate pictures, diagrams etc. depending on age of learner

-Lots of encouragement!
