About Rachel
I have a PhD in Structural Biology and lectured at university in America in Microbiology and Immunology. I am a fully qualified teacher in the UK.
As a scientist I used to enjoy the eureka moment in the lab, but have discovered that as a teacher that happens so much more often when my students have that light bulb moment of understanding something that they have previously struggled with. I love coming up with analogies to explain difficult concepts in easy to understand and fun ways.
