About Niall
I am a mathematics teacher currently teaching at a large secondary school in central Manchester. Prior to this, I studied and completed an undergraduate degree in physics and a mathematics PGCE at the same university. I have tutored mathematics students with all academic abilities before and am experienced in dealing with all aspects of the curriculum. Please get in touch!

Hey! I'm currently a full-time fully qualified mathematics teacher within Manchester. Due to this, I have had lots of experience in teaching students with all levels of mathematics ability and am a strong believer that ANYONE can do maths! My teaching method is to carefully explain/run through as many questions as possible, stopping for revision of certain topics when problems arise. I will make sure we develop the right balance on relational and instrumental learning so that you are able to become an independent mathematical thinker. If you have specific areas of difficulty then you are welcome to let me know prior to each lesson and we can go through that together. If not, in our first free session I will provide a baseline test covering the main topics of your relevant exam board/level (no more than 5-10 minutes). From there I will devise a plan for revision, preparing relevant questions for each session with some handwritten key notes on that topic that will be emailed through to you to keep! All work gone through during the session can also be sent through. Don't hesitate to get in touch!

I always go to Niall for help when I'm struggling with maths related problems. As an English major I'm very intimidated when it comes to numbers, and having modules that rely heavily on statistics is my nightmare, but Niall always manages to help me and teach me what to do and I always end up getting the grades I need with his help. He's super patient and thorough with his explanations and will always walk you through the method and explain how to fix any mistakes. I've definitely learnt alot from him and trust his teaching methods! A lovely and patient mentor who will go the extra mile to make sure you understand
