About Lisa
As stated I have been a nurse for many years. However a few years ago I got into substitute teaching and discovered I have a passion for teaching. I especially like to focus on the student who are eager to learn but just need a little extra instruction. I can certainly remember a time when I was a student feeling lost because I just “didn’t get it!” That’s a terrible feeling. It’s a wonderful feeling to be working with a student who doesn’t get it but then with a bit of help gets it. It’s so fulfilling to see the smile on their face as they now understand. That is my goal. I never want anyone to feel lost!!

Hello! I am a nurse and most recently a substitute teacher. I absolutely love teaching elementary students and have a passion and patience for helping those who need a little extra instruction. I am happy, patient, kind and understanding. I will go slow and steady abs always make sure you’ve got it before moving on or completing the current assignment. Everyone learns at a different pace and I am very happy to go at your pace. If you learn by instruction, reading, or doing or a combination I am happy to do any or all.
