About Iqra
I have recently graduated in Psychology with an Upper Second Class Honours and am currently working as a Specialist Support Teaching Assistant In a school for children with special needs and learning differences. I have experience of working in and out of the classroom and am dedicated to sharing my insight along with my knowledge in a variety of subjects: English, Mathematics and Art at Reception/ Primary level,A-level Sociology and Psychology. Furthermore, having studied Applied Child Psychology for a year as part of my degree and working in a specialist school means I have first hand experience with a range of SEN; such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, behavioural problems and emotional difficulties.
As a person I am patient, helpful and understanding with an optimistic attitude. Such qualities, along with my extensive interpersonal skills, academic record and experience will ensure I am able to meet each individual’s learning needs and any psychological affairs to help them develop and excel. I have a creative approach to learning and believe it is important to build rapport and communicate effectively to gain trust of my students to develop an understanding of their motivations and learning preferences. This will enhance my ability to implement a successful personalized learning approach towards each student.
I feel that one-to-one provides a safe comfortable space for an individual to maximize their potential, extend their learning and renew their self-confidence and drive to learn. It is my passion and pride to see today’s generation bloom and flourish, celebrate their achievements along the way and realize that making mistakes is acceptable and part of their learning journey.

Perfect! Fantastic tutoring
Iqra is an excellent tutor who is very knowledgeable and conveys her knowledge of complex material in a very easy manner. She keeps her lessons effective, engaging, enthusiastic and fun. My son was able to stay focus and moved from a low grade to a very high grade in his A-level results. I highly recommend her.

Iqra offered a personalised approach for Adam, she identified his weaknesses and built on them. She was patient, caring and never stopped trialing new methods of learning to reach out to Adam. She gave him to confidence for him to believe I’m himself. We are grateful for her support to our son.
Iqra is a brilliant tuition. From the beginning I was very skepticism about who to choose.
Iqra Tim band patience with my child meant I was put at ease and she was very prompt with her timing. Her feedback at the end of each lesson was very detailed and her lessons plans were really engaging.
I strongly recommend her and wish her morning but more success.Iqra has been an exceptional private tutor for both my son (aged 5) and daughter (aged 8). Her knowledge and teaching expertise has been very useful in encouraging positive learning behaviours in both my children and they are both progressing very well with Iqra's support in English and Maths.
Iqra is brilliant, my son really enjoys learning from her and he is making good progress in school.
One to one tutoring for Maths (primary) with Iqra has been really useful. She is very creative and enthusiastic when teaching and explains everything in fine detail.
