About Chris
Hello, I’m Chris.
I am a qualified teacher, SEND specialist and founder of The Art of Caring – Education.
Over the last 10 years I have supported children and young people across mainstream, specialist and SEMH settings, including as a Head of Specialist Provision and SENCO management.
I am passionate about helping children who may be struggling with anxiety, autism, emotional regulation, behaviour, school avoidance or additional learning needs. I believe every child deserves to feel understood, supported and successful.
My approach is based on building positive relationships, understanding individual needs and helping children develop confidence, resilience and independence. I also work closely with parents and schools to ensure support is consistent and meaningful.

I am a qualified teacher, NPQSENCO and former Head of Specialist Provision, specialising in autism, anxiety, SEMH, behaviour support, emotional regulation and school avoidance.
I provide personalised support for children and young people who may be struggling in school, finding learning difficult, experiencing anxiety, or requiring additional SEND support. I also offer guidance and coaching for parents, teachers and schools.
My approach is centred around building positive relationships, understanding individual needs and helping children develop confidence, resilience and success.
