About Janice
Hi I’m Janice I currently work at a local Primary School. I have worked there since 2004 as a SEND Teaching Assistant supporting all ages. I believe every child should feel valued and worthy. I currently tutor three pupils: one in year 3, one in year six and a little girl with SENS who I have tutored since she was in year 4 four years ago. I also tutored her brother for two years who is now studying for his 11 plus. My aim for every lesson I teach is to make my lessons fun and engaging, adapting each one to suit individual needs. In my eyes there is nothing more rewarding than to see a child take small steps, achieve their full potential, gain self-esteem and have self-belief.

I believe every child no matter what their abilities are should be valued and feel worthy. My aim for every pupil I support is to ensure they enjoy my lessons by adapting where necessary. I use resources, visual and sensory to make lessons fun and engaging. My lessons are structured to suit individual needs. Every child is different but unique and there is nothing more rewarding than to enable a child to achieve their full potential and lift their self-esteem to believe in their own abilities. I have worked at a local Primary school since 2004 as a SEND Teaching Assistant and currently tutor three pupils: one in year 3, one in year 6 and a little girl with SEN who is now in year 8 who I have supported since year 4 in primary. I also tutored her brother for 2 years who is now studying for his 11 plus. My lessons range from half an hour to an hour to suit individual needs.
