At the end of the day, I am a student just like you who has spent plenty of time in office hours, studying alone, or receiving tutoring myself. At one point in my life, I struggled badly with math and I thought I couldn’t ever be good at math. Once I had teachers that helped me learn in a productive way, I was able to see that I was never bad at math, I just didn’t understand what my high school teachers were saying! Now it’s my duty to make sure that anyone struggling with math can learn and become comfortable with math, since it is not as scary as it seems once you have someone who can explain it in a gentle and efficient way.
