I worked for the University as a small group math tutor focusing on business math and calculus. Math is not an easy subject and many teachers/professors don't help that. What made me most successful in helping my students was finding out what method of learning was best for a student and adjusting how I explained concepts to best suit that individual. I am very patient which allows students to feel comfortable around me and make the most of our tutoring time.
