About Halina
As writing director for the fashion team at VIM, it is literally my job to edit writing and fix mistakes. Because of this, I am very aware of grammar, flow, and general vocabulary. I have a younger sibling that needed extra help with reading and writing growing up, so I have been teaching these subjects my entire life. You will never annoy or bother me with your skill level or mistakes you may make, it’s all a part of learning.

Hi! I’m Halina, a current senior at Michigan State University. I graduate in May, and have a minor in writing. I am also the writing director of the fashion team for VIM magazine. My teaching method is hands-on and friendly, I do not believe in heavy criticism, but I will always be honest and helpful. Lesson plans will revolve around problem areas you are experiencing with your reading, spelling, writing, literacy, etc. I teach lessons for a variety of ages between middle school and college aged individuals.
