About Skye
I am an experienced ESL tutor with 6 years of teaching High School and College students. I have taught approximately 150–200 students, helping them overcome challenges in grammar, vocabulary, reading, and speaking to achieve both academic and personal growth.
A key milestone in my career has been supporting students who were initially hesitant about English to become confident communicators and independent learners. Seeing them progress academically and personally is deeply fulfilling and motivates me every day.
My teaching style is structured, clear, and practical. I cover grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, using exercises, discussions, and real-life examples to make lessons meaningful. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace, learning style, and goals to ensure steady and lasting improvement.
I foster a positive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and practising actively. I emphasise consistent effort, celebrate achievements, and build self-confidence alongside academic skills.
Teaching ESL allows me to make a meaningful and lasting impact on students’ lives. My goal is to help learners communicate effectively, achieve academic success, and enjoy the journey of learning English.

I teach ESL using real-life examples and case studies to make English practical and meaningful. My approach is student-focused, adapting lessons to each learner’s pace, style, and learning preferences. Motivation is central—I encourage students to set goals, track progress, and celebrate achievements.
Problem-solving exercises strengthen critical thinking and allow learners to apply English effectively in real-life situations. Integrity guides my teaching—I provide honest feedback and maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment.
Besides ESL, I also teach grammar, writing, reading, and conversational skills. My goal is to help students gain confidence, independence, and practical English skills they can use every day.
