About Kayla
I am a high school and college student who has taken all maths up to Calculus 1 in college and have seen that algebra is at the core of all of them. A strong foundation in algebra makes other subjects much easier to get a hang of. My goal is to help students star their journey into upper-level math with confidence.

When tutoring another student I typically go over the basics of algebra with them (associative rule, etc.) and build a good foundation. Then we tackle the areas that the student is particularly struggling in, spending the most time here. I often use pictures, writing out, and flashcards for this portion. Then we review everything, including student's strengths, so they a proficient in all aspects of algebra
