As a tutor, I strive to build a safe and structured learning environment in which students feel at ease asking questions and building confidence in math. I specialize in Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, and Pre-Calculus, and adapt my teaching methods to match each student's learning style. A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material or homework, pinpointing areas of difficulty, followed by a clear step-by-step explanation of new concepts. I guide students through practice problems together before allowing them to work independently while I provide feedback and encouragement. My lessons are designed for middle and high school students who are in need of homework help, test preparation, or a stronger foundation in math. What really sets me apart, though, is that I am a senior ranked in the top 10% of my class with a 4.2 GPA and a National Honor Society Officer, so I understand what teachers expect and how to help students meet those standards in a relatable and patient way. I emphasize understanding the "why" behind each concept so that students gain long-term skills, not just short-term answers.
