About Maximilian
As a Tutor, the experience of the Student is my top priority. In order to promote an experience of high quality, I dedicate myself to adhering to the principles of diligence, respect, patience and honesty.
This means that I will not waste your time by attempting to explain concepts that I do not fully understand myself. I pride myself on reflecting deeply on my knowledge and being transparent with students as to what I can offer.
Despite being a Tutor, I also love to expand my knowledge and find each Tutoring experience to be an opportunity for mutual learning.

-I believe in providing instruction that is mindful to the starting point and goals of each student. Not everyone learns in the exact same way, and utilizing teaching practices that make the most sense to the student is at the core of my methodology.
-In line with this ideology, a typical lesson is largely student driven. In which, I develop an individualized study plan with each student based on their explicit areas of focus. In this way, students can get the most out of their learning experience without wasting time by hearing material that is not relevant to their immediate needs.
-Lessons best fit the curriculum of Highschool and College courses in Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry(Organic & Inorganic), and Psychology.
-Whether it be working through homework problems or providing more extensive explanations of course concepts, I am always happy to work with students on the topics of their choosing through various online modalities!
