About Stanford
Growing up, English was by far the subject I was most passionate about. Reading and writing were where I felt most at home, to the point where I've obviously eventually pursued it as a career.
I have consistently received all A's in my schooling for English/Literature related classes, taken Pre-AP and IB English classes as well as received Honors upon high school graduation, scored the highest possible score on the ACT for the English section (closely followed by the Reading section), and am currently on the Dean's List for Emerson College.
I say all this to say, I want to share my passion with others and help folks feel empowered in their work.

My approach is always going to be centralized on making sure that you and/or your child feels comfortable and empowered with the subject.
I believe in working through the text with the student, understanding their frustrations, and teaching them tools to be able to better tackle media literacy in the future/carry those skills beyond our lessons.
I can teach up to college level English, but I am more than comfortable teaching to small children as well, as I've also been a camp counselor in the past.
As a young person, I understand the difficulties that can come with being a student and would love to be there for you or your student as you work through the weird and complex world of English.
