My rate reflects over 16 years of active teaching and a continuous professional career as a musician. Every lesson is prepared and personalised — not a generic session.

All lessons are online via Zoom or Google Meet. No travel costs or studio hire.

The 10-hour pack offers a saving on the single lesson rate and ensures continuity of progress. It is the recommended option for students who want to work consistently over time.

The first lesson is free — 30 minutes to get to know each other, understand your goals, and map out the best path forward. No commitment required.

Lesson Policy

Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged in full. Please let me know as early as possible if something comes up.

Practice

I recommend practising every day, even if only for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. To see consistent improvement, a minimum of one and a half to two hours of practice per week is recommended. Short, regular sessions are far more effective than occasional long ones.

Materials and Equipment

I share materials, notes, and digital resources throughout lessons. Students are responsible for organising and archiving all materials received. I maintain access to my teaching library, but locating previously shared material takes additional time.

Please make sure your instrument is in playable condition before each session and that you have all necessary accessories to hand: picks, cables, tuner, or anything else you normally use. Lessons run more smoothly when everything is ready before we start.
