About Sabine
Due to my experience of singing on stage every day, exercises from speech therapy and functional voice training flow into my lessons, and for those who are interested, I am happy to guide you around music theory and solfége if you are interested. At the moment I am also doing training in children's music education, the Kodàly method.
I currently live in Birmingham with my family so I currently only teach online. We are planning to move to Cologne in the next 12 months.
BA in Vocal Jazz, Maastricht

Various musical productions such as Grease in Düsseldorf, Sunset Boulevard in Wiesbaden, Rock- , Funk and pop bands. Lessons in singing, dancing and directing choirs.

WHO HAS A VOICE CAN ALSO SING is my motto. Maybe you are a choir singer and just want to improve yourself, or you sing regularly on stage and want a few pro tips, you want to prepare for an entrance exam or you just like to sing in the shower. No matter if you are a professional or a beginner, what age you are, it's never too late to learn to sing.
How will the lessons be structured?
You can choose what you like to sing, we work on it together, and I can accompany you on the piano or with playback. Since voice is something incredibly individual, my approach is based on the singer and his / her goals. Of course, I also have a lot of repertoire to suggest to you if you wish.
Which technique do we use?
The warm-up is essential for the quality of your singing, because your instrument is the body. That is why the opening of the voice is the basis, exercises are drawn from classical singing training for the development of virtuosity and connection of the registers without tension in the neck.

Ich habe selbst einige Jahre Gesangsunterricht bei Sabine gehabt, erst Einzelunterricht und später in einem Chor. Sabine hat selbst eine tolle Stimme, begleitet am Keyboard und ist eine sehr gute Gesangslehrerin. Darüber hinaus ist sie ausgesprochen sympathisch und liebenswert und der Unterricht bei ihr macht Spaß.

My hourly rate is £45, 20min for £15. Your first lesson for 30min will be free of charge.
As I am a new member on this platform, I offer for the first 5 students a 2 for 1 session if you are happy to write a short review about your experience (so f.e. if you book 20min with me, you get 2x20min for £15).
