About Elise
While I am now in training to become an Opera singer, I did not always have the most beautiful voice and I wasn’t always the most confident performer. However, when I was 14, I changed singing teachers and noticed a vast improvement in my voice, my technique and my confidence. I owe a lot of my success to my singing teacher, who encouraged me to sing out in my own, authentic voice. I am so grateful, and I aim to help people in the same way that my teacher helped and encouraged me through my singing journey. And while some students may not be interested in a career in singing, if I have helped them come out of their shell in any way, I would consider it a true success.

I teach with a large focus on healthy singing and placing down solid technical foundations. I will teach techniques such as accent method. I highly value the idea that all voices are beautiful and that we can all produce the best sound by singing with our natural voice, rather than trying to replicate someone else’s voice. I will work through musical grades with my students to give them something to work towards through our lessons. Most of all I will try to make every lesson interesting and fun!
