About Susie
I have an Advanced Diploma in the Arts and am currently doing my Master in Vocal Pedagogy at the Qld Conservatorium of Music. I have thirty years experience as a professional musical theatre performer in shows such as "The Sound of Music" and "Mamma Mia".

I am a private music teacher using the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) framework. I encourage both playing by ear and sight-reading. My lessons are student performance based using repertoire that is engaging and relevant to the student, young or not so young.

Details
The going rate for a 30 minute private music lesson (whether it be an instrument or theory) in Maleny is $30. Any rate under this is undercutting other teachers. The length of lessons I teach depends both on the age of the student/s and their stamina. Group lesson rates can be negotiated, for example, an hour group vocal and ukelele lesson would be $15 per student (3-6 students).
