About Kaelin
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education and have 6 years of experience teaching singers at different levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes a blend of technical proficiency, artistic interpretation, and personal confidence. I focus on helping students uncover their unique vocal qualities, improve technique, and perform authentically, while fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Each lesson is designed to challenge learners just enough to promote growth without overwhelming them. My teaching approach adapts to individual student needs. Beginners concentrate on breath control, pitch, and tone; intermediate learners enhance phrasing, vibrato, and repertoire; advanced students focus on performance preparation, stylistic interpretation, and musical storytelling.
Each session balances exercises, repertoire work, and constructive feedback to support steady development. Outside the classroom, I continue exploring diverse musical styles and performance techniques. Guiding students to develop confident, expressive, and technically capable voices remains the most rewarding part of my work.

My singing lessons are designed to help learners develop both technical control and expressive artistry. Each session focuses on breath support, pitch accuracy, tone production, vibrato, phrasing, diction, and performance interpretation, allowing students to communicate emotion through their voice. I use a variety of exercises, vocal games, repertoire practice, and improvisation techniques to engage learners, encouraging them to explore musical styles, understand stylistic nuances, and discover their personal voice. My approach balances skill-building with creativity, ensuring learners gain technical proficiency while also developing artistic expression and stage confidence.
Lessons are personalized according to student ability and goals. Beginners start with foundational skills such as proper posture, controlled breathing, simple melodies, and vocal exercises to build accuracy and consistency. Intermediate learners refine tone, phrasing, expressive articulation, vibrato, and repertoire performance, while practicing performance scenarios. Advanced students focus on complex musical interpretation, audition preparation, nuanced expression, stylistic understanding, and building confidence for live performance. Every lesson integrates structured exercises, repertoire, and guided feedback to ensure measurable progress.
The purpose of my lessons is to help learners merge technical mastery with artistic expression. Students develop independence, musical sensitivity, and confidence to perform in various settings. My lessons provide a supportive yet challenging environment where learners can grow as both skilled and expressive singers.
