About Rahima
Hi! My name is Rahima and I am a Year 12 sixth form student currently studying A-level History, Sociology, Law and EPQ. I offer GCSE tutoring in English and History (achieved 9s and 8s) helping students improve their understanding, confidence, and exam results.
My lessons focus on:
- Clear explanation of key topics
- Essay writing and exam structure
- Source analysis (History)
- Exam technique and revision skills
I aim to make lessons supportive and easy to follow, tailored to each student’s needs. As a current student, I understand what GCSE exam boards are looking for and how to help students improve their grades effectively.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
My lessons cover:
- Core GCSE History topics (depending on exam board)
- Causes, consequences, and key historical events
- Source analysis and interpretation skills
- Essay structure for 4, 8, 12, and 16-mark questions
- Exam technique, timing, and how to access top-band answers
- Revision strategies and active recall methods
My teaching style is clear, patient, and structured. I break down difficult content into simple steps and help students learn how to answer exam questions exactly how examiners want. A big focus of my lessons is improving exam technique so students can turn knowledge into higher marks and aim for the highest grades.
As a current A-level student, I understand the challenges of GCSE History and what is needed to succeed. My aim is to build confidence, improve understanding, and help students reach their target grades.
