About Felix
I am a Chemistry tutor with more than 3 years of teaching and laboratory experience, holding an MSc in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry. My expertise is in analytical chemistry, and I help students build both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills. I teach chromatography, including HPLC, GC, and TLC, guiding learners to analyze separation efficiency, retention times, and peak patterns. Spectroscopy instruction covers UV–Vis, IR, and NMR, helping students link data to molecular structure. Titrations are also emphasized, with a focus on accurate endpoint detection, precision, and minimizing error. Experimental design is central to my teaching, teaching students to plan procedures, control variables, and follow structured methods. Data interpretation is a key component, including calibration curve analysis, concentration calculation, and error evaluation. I have experience supporting chemistry lab students and learners pursuing research or quality assurance careers, including method validation, quality control, and proper documentation practices. Lessons combine theory, practical exercises, and problem-solving strategies to develop analytical confidence. Students gain independence, critical thinking, and accuracy in experiments. I enjoy seeing learners grow into precise and competent chemists. There is special satisfaction in obtaining reproducible, reliable data, and I love sharing the excitement of precise chemical measurement and analysis with every student.

The teaching approach emphasizes structured learning, analytical review, and practical application. Lessons cover macromolecules, metabolic pathways, enzyme kinetics, and key biochemistry topics. Case studies help students connect theory with real biological processes. Learners explore enzyme-substrate interactions, reaction mechanisms, and regulation in pathways. Zoologists and botanists benefit from examples relevant to their academic field. Analytical review sessions reinforce concepts and clarify gaps in understanding. Students practice interpreting biochemical data, evaluating pathways, and predicting enzymatic outcomes. Stepwise problem-solving exercises strengthen reasoning and critical thinking. Personalized feedback supports learners in achieving academic excellence in biological chemistry. Lessons combine theory, practical examples, and analysis for mastery. Students gain confidence in navigating complex biochemical processes. The approach ensures lessons are structured, clear, and rewarding. By the end, learners refine understanding and develop mastery over life’s chemical processes.
