Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson follows a clear, predictable structure to help students feel comfortable and ready to learn:
Warm-up review – quick check-in or small activity to activate prior learning
Learning goal of the day – what we’ll focus on (e.g., fractions, reading comprehension, writing skills)
Guided practice – I model the skill, then we work through examples together
Independent practice – the student tries questions on their own with support if needed
Wrap-up & feedback – review what we learned and plan next steps
