About Jamie
I am a motivated ESL tutor with 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have a strong passion for education and enjoy helping students reach their full potential. I have worked with 150 to 200 students, which has helped me develop flexible and effective teaching methods.
I focus on clear explanations and practical learning so students can use English confidently. A key milestone in my career is helping students move from basic understanding to confident communication.
Many of my students have achieved better results in exams and gained confidence in speaking. My teaching approach is friendly, supportive, and interactive.

I use an interactive and practical ESL teaching approach that focuses on communication and real-life application. I include real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how English is used in different situations.
This makes learning more meaningful and easier to apply. I motivate students by creating a supportive and encouraging environment where they feel confident to speak and participate.
I include problem-solving activities such as role-plays, discussions, and real-life tasks to improve fluency and thinking skills. I teach with integrity by providing honest feedback and guiding students patiently.
I also maintain flexibility by adjusting lessons according to each student’s learning style and pace. Along with ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
