About Lennon
My flute journey began twelve years ago, inspired by the instrument’s warm, resonant sound and the emotional depth it carries with every breath. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance, where I trained extensively in classical repertoire, ensemble playing, and advanced performance techniques. Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to learn from accomplished musicians, participate in workshops, and perform in orchestras and chamber groups that shaped my artistic voice. Teaching evolved naturally from my love of performing, as I found immense joy in helping others discover the beauty of music. Guiding students as they produce their first clear tone, complete their first piece, or perform with confidence brings a sense of fulfillment that continues to inspire me in every lesson. I approach teaching with patience, clarity, and a strong belief that every student can succeed with the right support. My lessons combine structured technique training with creative exploration, helping learners develop both precision and expressive freedom. I tailor instruction to each student’s learning style, offering visual cues, rhythmic guidance, and tone modeling to strengthen understanding. I place strong emphasis on breath control, posture awareness, and mindful practice, helping students build healthy habits that support long-term growth. At the same time, I encourage experimentation, musical interpretation, and personal expression, ensuring students feel connected to the music they play. My goal is to help learners feel motivated, confident, and capable as they progress through each stage of their musical development. Outside of teaching, I stay engaged with the musical community by participating in ensemble performances, attending workshops, and exploring new repertoire. Continuous learning is important to me because it allows me to bring fresh ideas and updated techniques into my lessons. I enjoy arranging small pieces for my students, tailoring melodies to their current level so that they feel both challenged and successful. Music has shaped my identity, discipline, and emotional expression, and sharing this art with others continues to be one of the greatest joys of my life. My hope is that every student discovers not only skill and confidence but also a deep appreciation for the beauty, creativity, and emotional richness that flute playing brings into their world.

Music becomes more meaningful when learners understand the emotional intent behind melodies, so I also incorporate expressive phrasing, dynamic shaping, and interpretive techniques that help students connect personally with the pieces they play. Whether someone dreams of performing classical repertoire, ensemble arrangements, or modern music, I ensure lessons feel inspiring, structured, and tailored to individual goals.
My teaching process accommodates beginners, intermediate players, and advanced musicians with precision and care. Beginners start by learning breath control, correct hand positioning, basic articulation, and simple melodic pieces that help them build confidence. As they progress, I introduce music reading, rhythm exercises, and small performance tasks that strengthen their musical independence. Intermediate players explore tone color variation, vibrato development, scales, advanced rhythms, and expressive shaping. Advanced learners dive into complex repertoire, stylistic interpretation, ornamentation, ensemble preparation, and performance technique. I also support students preparing for exams, auditions, and school performances, offering personalized practice plans and structured assignments. Throughout all stages, I focus on helping students develop clean technique, strong musical instincts, and emotional connection to the instrument.
Flute study becomes a deeply rewarding experience for many students, offering both artistic challenge and emotional enrichment. The process of learning to shape a beautiful tone, interpret melodies, and perform confidently often builds self-awareness, patience, and inner calm.
