About Rainy
For the past 16 years, I have been fortunate to turn my passion for Guitar and education into a rewarding tutoring career. I teach High School and College students and have successfully worked with around 300-350 learners. This experience has been an important milestone in my career and has shown me how powerful encouragement and good guidance can be in a student's learning journey.
I believe that every student has unique abilities. My responsibility as a tutor is to identify those abilities and create opportunities for students to develop them. I focus on making lessons simple, practical, and engaging so that students can understand new concepts without feeling overwhelmed.
When teaching Guitar, I build lessons around each student's goals and experience. I help students develop essential skills such as chord knowledge, scales, rhythm, strumming, finger techniques, music theory, song playing, and performance confidence. I introduce skills step by step and give students enough time to practice and apply them.
I also encourage students to become active participants in their learning. Instead of only following instructions, I encourage them to ask questions, explore different musical ideas, and share the types of music they enjoy. This helps create a stronger connection between practice and personal interest.
Teaching 300-350 students has been one of the biggest achievements of my tutoring journey. It has allowed me to work with learners who have different goals and abilities. Some students want to play Guitar for enjoyment, while others want to develop their skills more seriously. Supporting each student has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and clear communication.
I consider student progress to be my greatest reward. Watching a learner confidently play a song after struggling with the first few chords is a special moment. These experiences motivate me to continue learning and improving my own teaching methods.
I want my students to understand that success does not happen overnight. Consistent practice, positive thinking, and patience are important parts of musical growth. I encourage them to celebrate small achievements while continuing to work toward bigger goals.
My passion for education comes from helping students become more confident and independent. As I continue my tutoring career, I hope to guide many more learners, inspire their creativity, and help them discover the satisfaction that comes from learning and playing Guitar.

My Guitar teaching approach focuses on communication, practical learning, flexibility, and steady improvement. I believe every student has a different musical background and learning speed, so I first understand their goals, interests, and current skill level.
Communication is important in my lessons. I explain guitar concepts in simple English and encourage students to ask questions. I listen carefully to their difficulties and change my teaching method when needed.
I use adaptation to learning styles to make lessons comfortable and effective. Some students learn better through demonstrations, while others learn through listening, reading, or repeated practice. I use chord charts, demonstrations, audio examples, exercises, and guided practice based on the student's needs.
I also include real-life examples and case studies. Students learn how guitar skills are used in songs, live performances, rehearsals, and songwriting. For example, I explain how chord progressions support a song, how rhythm patterns create different musical feelings, and how scales can be used for solos and improvisation.
My Guitar lessons cover chords, strumming, rhythm, fingerstyle, picking, scales, lead guitar, improvisation, music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance skills. Related subjects include Music Theory, Songwriting, Ear Training, Rhythm Training, Music Appreciation, and Basic Music Performance.
I give students simple practice tasks and realistic goals. I provide positive feedback and help them correct mistakes step by step. I also encourage students to develop good practice habits and become more independent learners.
My goal is to make Guitar learning enjoyable and useful while helping students build strong technique, musical understanding, confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
