About Nora
I am a guitar tutor with 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance. I have taught approximately 150 students from complete beginners to intermediate and advancing performers. My lessons cover classical, acoustic, jazz, and electric guitar with strong technique and music theory foundations throughout. I specialize in scales, chord harmony, rhythm training, songwriting, and performance preparation. I am passionate about helping every student find genuine joy and creative confidence in their guitar playing. My lessons are structured, encouraging, and always personalized to the individual student's goals and musical interests. I use backing tracks, chord apps, and basic recording tools to make lessons practical and motivating. I have helped students perform in front of audiences, record original music, and pass graded examinations. My guitar lessons develop strong foundations while keeping every session musically rewarding and enjoyable. I begin with a clear assessment of each student's current level and goals so lessons are immediately purposeful. Warm-ups cover scales, chord transitions, and picking exercises to build the physical skills needed for fluent playing. Theory is introduced progressively alongside practical playing connecting every concept directly to real music. Songwriting students receive focused coaching on chord progressions, melody ideas, and developing original compositions. Performance students work on building stage confidence and consistency under pressure. Backing tracks are used throughout to develop timing and musical feel. I incorporate digital tools to reflect the modern music-making landscape. Clear weekly practice plans keep students progressing consistently between sessions. My commitment is to help every student become a confident, creative, and genuinely passionate guitarist.
