About Crislyn
I am a Registered Midwife with several years of clinical experience in maternal and newborn care. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and practical experience with students and helping them understand midwifery concepts in a clear and approachable way. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing their knowledge, and building confidence. As your tutor, I will be patient, professional, and committed to helping you become a knowledgeable, compassionate, and competent future midwife.

As a Midwifery tutor, I want my students to learn not only the theories of midwifery but also how to apply those theories in actual clinical situations.
I can help them understand important areas such as antenatal care, normal pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum care, newborn care, and the early recognition of complications. I also want to help them develop proper patient assessment, communication, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills.
Because of my clinical experience, I can share real-life situations and explain how the knowledge they learn in the classroom can be applied when caring for mothers and newborns.
Most importantly, I want my students to develop confidence, compassion, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility. My goal is to help them become competent and safe future midwives who can provide quality care to mothers, babies, families, and the community.
