I am a qualified dentist (BDS, MDS – India) and a current MPH student in the U.S. with extensive experience in academic writing, research, and editing. My approach is structured yet flexible, grounded in understanding each student’s academic goals and writing style. I begin with a brief assessment of current writing samples or reading comprehension skills to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
A typical session includes reviewing work (essays, theses, or drafts), discussing the structure and argument clarity, and collaboratively editing sections to enhance flow, coherence, grammar, and academic tone. I also focus on critical reading skills and help students interpret texts or research articles effectively.
What sets me apart is my background as a dentist with an MDS, now pursuing an MPH in the U.S., giving me firsthand experience with both technical and academic writing across cultures. I’ve worked on dissertations, research papers, literature reviews, and grant proposals, and I bring this real-world perspective to every session.
