About Farwah
Hi there! I'm currently a student at the University of Illinois, in the process of earning my teaching licensure. This means that I'm required to do a lot of academic writing and research, but I also enjoy and have experience with creative writing as an art educator. I have experience in K-6 classrooms and am looking to teach high school as a career. I am meticulous about my writing and often earn the highest grade in class on my papers. This is backed up by my ACT scores of 32 in English and 25 in writing. I have also tutored English for fellow college classmates, helping them with paper revisions and grammar.

As a future teacher, I have seen the importance of effective writing firsthand. Good writing and reading skills are what carry students to earning good grades, recognition, scholarships, and even job positions. Mastering those skills can be hard! With my background as an art educator, I hope to make the process of learning and understanding these skills a little bit more fun, unique, and intuitive.
