About Lacy
I have been playing piano for more than nine years and hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. I enjoy composing and writing my own music, and this passion guides my lessons. My teaching is fun, warm, and highly personal. I welcome school learners, college students, adults, and professionals. Chord theory is one of the main areas I specialize in. I also teach strong performance techniques for confident playing. Sight-reading is built step by step. Improvisation is encouraged for those who want to explore creativity. I have helped students move from Intermediate to Advanced skill levels. Many of my learners have grown into expert or professional players. I believe in supporting each person in the way they learn best. My lessons offer a balance of challenge and enjoyment. Let’s work together and unlock your true piano potential.

My method is centered on clarity, confidence, and steady progress. I begin by strengthening keyboard technique to ensure comfort in playing. Ear training is added early to improve musical sensitivity. Performance skills are developed through practice and simple guidance. Theory is taught in a way that connects directly to songs students enjoy. I adjust my pacing for fast-growing young learners. I also support adults who learn for creativity or relaxation. Both groups receive patient and focused instruction. Exercises are chosen based on what each student needs most. I make explanations easy to follow. Students can explore different styles like jazz, classical, pop, or funk. I aim to create a learning space that feels inspiring. Every lesson helps them build passion and confidence at the piano.
