Osiah is an incredible teacher and a deeply kind human being. While working him for three years teaching high school, I saw his engaging teaching style and giving heart in action. It was my privilege to work with Osiah for 4 years. We served students with mild/moderate learning differences and Osiah was adept at building in accommodations so all students could access the content. He leans into student choice and interest for project based learning. Rather than a lecture and notes, Osiah helps students read primary sources and ensure the inclusion of multiple voices and perspectives so a student can have confidence when drawing conclusions.
