About Retna
I am an MA Sociology student at the renowned Banaras Hindu University. I have a great love for teaching Sociology and Social Sciences. As a published author of a research paper, I possess deep knowledge of the subject and love to break down complicated ideas so that the students find it easy to understand concepts and develop a real interest in the subject.
I have been teaching for three years now and mostly worked with NRI students. This has made me understand students' learning needs deeply and be able to change my teaching methods accordingly.
My way of teaching is very friendly, patient, and supportive. I want to make a learning environment so free and comfortable that the students will not hesitate to ask questions and share their thoughts. Basically, I concentrate on helping students understand the subject thoroughly, do well in their academics, and also prepare for school examinations and the CUET.
I conduct personalized one, on, one classes, deliver well, planned lessons, and offer ongoing help according to the speed and the academic requirements of each student. Furthermore, I provide a demo class so that the students and parents can get a feel of my way of teaching before starting regular sessions.
It will be my pleasure to assist students in learning with a clear understanding, help them gain confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

My teaching style is mainly based on concepts, highly interactive and tailored to the unique learning styles of the students. What I do is explain things in the easiest way possible and give examples from real life that are very close to students' experience so that they feel more comfortable and learn better, thus getting a higher level of Sociology and Social Sciences.
I am a teacher for three years and have been in contact with NRI students for a long time. That has given me a good grasp of different learning styles and how I can change my teaching methods to best fit students different academic backgrounds.
In a most likely scenario, the class starts with a brief revision of the previous topics, then the explanation of the concept in the very first structured and final form, followed by students discussion and practice questions. Also, I do a thorough clearing of students doubts and preparation for exams made especially for these students who deal with CUET as well as school examination.
Currently studying M.A. Sociology at BHU and also one who has his work published in the field of research, help giving through guidance and advice on the basis of ones performance, and resorting to teaching methods that are very flexible in nature are what I am capable of and using to do and teach always. Those who will find my classes very much to their liking will be school children from the class 6 up to the class 12, and aspirants for CUET who are willing to build their very strong foundations of concepts and perform exceedingly well in their academics.
