About Ava
I am passionate about English, theatre, and fun! As someone who grew up struggling in school, I found solitude and comfort in these subjects and found ways to better my understanding. I hope to help those who were like me in finding themselves either on stage or on the page. While some parts of these topics may not be fun, I will do my best to explain and teach them in a way that’s fun and engaging while still being educational!

I approach each lesson with a plan that works for you as an individual. We will discuss your interests and strengths and find ways to incorporate that in a fun, relaxing, and educational manner. School can be tough, but as a student with ADHD, I understand that everyone learns a little differently. Lesson plans will vary depending on subject matter and difficulties, but expect there will always be something to work on and strengthen for your success. My lessons are for elementary and middle school students needing help in creative writing, spelling, grammar, and reading comprehension. I also offer lessons in theatre for any age. Theatre lessons include character development, improvisation skills, fundamentals of acting, understanding context, projection, and enunciation.
