About Adiv
My name is Adiv, I am 23 and a Software Engineer. Specialising in .NET and Azure with 3+ years of industry experience, holding a first-class honours degree in software engineering whilst earning an award. My dissertation focused on comparing monolithic architectures and cloud-native architecture, giving me strong insights into modern development practices. I am passionate about helping others develop their technical skills and making complex ideas or projects more accessible, whether for study, career progression, or personal learning.

The methodology behind tutoring to me is first to identify specific problem areas that a student faces, and second, personalising each lesson the preferred way they learn. To do this I find it is important to establish a friendly environment and teach more casually so that it feels like a knowledgeable friend is guiding you. I aim to share all my knowledge from university and the market in an approachable and realistic way so that no matter what level you are at, be it GCSEs/A-levels, university, or learning as a hobby, your technical skills improve. I have never tutored professionally previously, only my peers during university and colleagues in the past, but I hope to bolster my skills alongside my students. Lessons typically range between an hour to two hours, though of course, this would vary on a student's needs and attention span. Sessions can be arranged for focused study or working on big, in-depth projects.
