I am a software engineering graduate who has experience in medicine and the sciences. I have had a deep desire to venture into the technology world of programming and software development because of its potential to deliver efficient problem-solving for issues that we face day-to-day. My lessons will target high school students, college students, and first-year university students. I am also happy to assist mature-aged students who are striving to learn new technologies (for example, Microsoft Office) for work or anyone who is curious about technology, programming, mathematics, and the sciences. Foremost, I would like to know where the student is at in the subject that they would like to learn. And then assess what they would like to learn and what particular concepts they have difficulty grasping or working with in a particular subject. My teaching approach is to deliver learning material in small "packets" - starting at an elementary level and building up to the desired level of complexity. I use a combination of face-to-face delivery, video conferencing, and recorded videos depending on what suits the student; and reinforcement of concepts through exercises and spaced-repetition modalities.
