I think Ian is an outstanding tutor and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He is an extremely pleasant person to work with. He understands architecture inside out; but more than that, he understands what architecture tutors expect from their students and has the ability to explain those expectations to you in clear and simple terms so that you understand them too. He cuts through the confusion. Life at architecture school became so much less stressful and more enjoyable after I enlisted Ian’s help. He gave me a framework through which to approach projects and as a direct result the feedback I received from my tutors changed almost overnight.
