About Vanya
My journey in programming began with a strong interest in understanding how software systems work and how logic can create useful applications. I completed a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, where I developed advanced knowledge in coding and problem solving. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them build confidence and technical skills. Teaching allows me to make programming simple and accessible.
My teaching style is practical, structured, and adaptable. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my approach based on their needs. I focus on step-by-step learning, regular practice, and building strong foundations. I also create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. This helps them stay motivated and engaged.
Outside teaching, I continue working on coding projects and exploring new technologies. This helps me stay updated and bring real-world knowledge into my lessons. Teaching programming is meaningful to me because I see students grow from beginners to confident coders. Helping them develop strong skills, improve their thinking ability, and prepare for future opportunities is something I truly value, and I am dedicated to guiding them towards long-term success.

My programming lessons are designed to make coding simple, clear, and easy to understand for every student. I guide learners through concepts like variables, loops, conditions, functions, and basic data structures using step-by-step explanations. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind the code instead of memorising syntax. Each lesson includes practical coding exercises where students write, test, and improve their programmes. This hands-on method helps students build confidence and learn actively at their own pace.
Lessons are carefully structured based on the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners start with basic syntax, simple programmes, and understanding how code runs. Intermediate learners focus on structured programming, debugging, and small real-world projects. Advanced students work on algorithms, optimisation, and building complete applications. I provide regular guidance, corrections, and practice tasks to support steady progress. This ensures that students develop strong coding skills without feeling overwhelmed.
Programming also helps students develop logical thinking, patience, and creativity. As they begin to solve problems and build their own programmes, they feel more confident and motivated. Many students enjoy the process of turning ideas into working solutions. My goal is to make programming meaningful and practical. I want students to become independent learners who can think clearly, solve problems efficiently, and apply their coding knowledge in real-life situations and future careers.
